The Union Bead Boutique

Please read the party policies below before scheduling your party.  You may want to have the people attending your party read over the policies as well, or at least make them aware of which ones you feel would apply to them personally. If you have any questions please call us at (859) 384-8785. 

Adult Parties

• The party fee of $10/person is the same price of our lowest priced class.  This includes table rental, tool rental, personal instruction, and project completion charges.
• A $40 non-refundable deposit is required upon reservation to guarantee your date and time of choice.  Failure to pay the deposit may result in forfeit of your reservation to another party.  The deposit will be applied to your total at the end of the party.
• If at least 24 hour cancellation notice is given, you can transfer your deposit to another date, or be issued a store credit.
• Tool kits will be assigned at the start of the party and returned at the conclusion of the party.  Failure to do so will result in a $15 per tool charge.
• The minimum for a party is 4. Any number under 4 will be charge a party fee of $15 (the private lesson fee) rather than $10.
• The maximum for a party is 12.  Please call about parties for larger groups. (No additional fees apply)
• Only people participating in the party may attend due to allotted space.  Anyone in attendance for the party is required to pay the party fee regardless of whether they actually make anything. 
  
• Young children and babies are discouraged from attending adult parties.
• Each party is allotted two hours for their party.  A charge of $5/per person will be charged for each additional 15 minutes the party runs long.  We enforce this policy because we often have parties scheduled back-to-back or after hours.  Please ask about scheduling longer parties.
• Please feel free to bring food and drinks.  If you do, remember to supply the cups, plates, napkins, etc.
• All outside beads and supplies are not allowed to be brought in to the boutique for private parties to avoid confusion.
  

Kid's Parties

• A $20 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation, which will be applied to the final party total.  Failure to pay the deposit may result in forfeit of your reservation to another party.
• If at least 24 hour cancellation notice is given, you can transfer your deposit to another date, or be issued a store credit.
• A minimum of four children is required for a party and a max of 12.  Please call for larger group accomodations.
• Due to limited space allotted for your party, no children may attend the party unless they are participating, unless they are under age.
• All bead related materials used in the party must be purchased from The Union Bead Boutique.
• All parties are scheduled for 1 1/2 hours.  The actual beading usually takes anywhere from 30 - 60 minutes.  If you are not having cake, presents, etc. please have ride accommodations ready for early pick up.
• You are welcome to bring food, drinks, presents etc.  Please also supply your own plates, cups, napkins, etc.
• Decorations are permitted for tables and chairs and must be removed at the end of the party.  No wall decorations are permitted.
• At least one adult must attend the party for children under age 13.
• Please let us know in advance if any accommodations must be made for handicap children.
