Taking a class at The Union Bead Boutique is a great way to jump start your way into the wonderful world of beading.  We offer classes for people new to and experienced in beading.  Our instructors are experienced and enthusiastic about teaching and look forward to meeting you.  Many beaders enjoy our classes because it is a great way to network with other crafters and have a fun night out! 

Each class at UBB comes with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE.  That means if you forget any part of any class, our staff will be more than happy to take a few minutes, when available, to reteach you.  We understand that you may not be able to retain all the information you receive during class.  Also, with most of our classes, each student will leave with a comprehensive handout that will serve as a reference for the techniques learn in class as well as supplies used.

  • Beading Basics Class

    In this class you will learn three different essential jewelry making techniques used to complete necklaces and bracelets.  You will learn how to attach clasps, how to properly choose and use elastic cord, and how to construct a memory wire bracelet.  Everyone will leave class with an original finished necklace and two unique bracelets.  You will also learn about several basic tools, how to choose wire and clasps for any project, and several elements of design to help you with your future jewelry projects.

  • Woven Crystal Watch Class

    Use this simple yet elegant pattern to create a stunning watch band.  Choose your own crystal colors and we'll help you pick a coordinating watch face to fit you style.  This class is suitable for beaders of all skill levels!

  • Organza Ribbon Necklace Class

    You'll enjoy learning all the little tricks we have for creating and finishing a beautiful organza ribbon necklace.  We welcome beaders of all skill levels for this class.

  • Multi-Strand Necklace Class

    Have you ever wondered how they get all those strands neatly onto one clasp without a big bulky knot on the end?  Well, we can show you how!  In this class we'll help you design and create a beautiful and original multi-strand necklace.  The technique is a little tricky, but, we make it simple and professional looking.

  • Crystal Butterfly Bracelet Class

    Everyone knows that when a butterfly lands on you it's good luck...we'll now you can have good luck all spring long!  This bracelet is a creative way to arrange beads to look like a pretty butterflies.  Make a bracelet or anklet in the colors or your
    choice.

Every student is required to choose all beads and supplies BEFORE class begins.  We are available to assist you, however it is reccommended students choose beads on a day other than class day.
